Abstract
Douglas Coupland sets out on an unconventional, but heartfelt mission to understand why he feels connected to Canada and to marvel at what makes his homeland unique. He seeks out uniquely Canadian objects like stubby beer bottles, Ookpiks and bilingual branding on cereal boxes. These, and other items, form part of a pop art installation Coupland is building called Canada House. Along the way, Coupland shares personal stories of his childhood.
